You heard the man, sweetheart. Give us something very un-barge-like.
[Jedao says into the little microphone, giving the barge a friendly pat by way of the wall and then opening the door into the unknown.
Descending the stairs, they find themselves on a strange planet. The gravity is about half of Earth's, the sky is a dark purple, and the landscape is lit by slow-oozing rivulets of lava from a massive, singular mountain. Jellyfish-like creatures billow across the sky, blinking in bioluminescence, and in between the lava flows are dunes of deep, soft, dark-grey ashes. Gingerly coming off the staircase, Jedao sinks into it almost up to his knees.]
[Ed blinks a bit, looking at the very alien surroundings. Well, that certainly was something different compared to the ship itself, although the potential has always been there, cruising through space as they do.
When Jedao speaks, Ed's gaze shifts down at the man.] Is that supposed to be appealing? The local version of jump right in, the water's fine?
[While playing in puddles (be they water or dust) is something kids might find entertaining, Ed's not really in the mood for it, sorry temp warden. He steps off the staircase a lot less bouncily despite the lack of gravity, eyeing the Jellyfish-like creatures in case they suddenly become aggressive, and glances around randomly.]

[Jedao is perfectly happy to stand here smiling passive-aggressively for a while in front of the little speaker for making requests of the room.]

[Have some condescension right back atcha.]

Were you not thinking of somewhere in particular?

[What a surprise, he's mildly agreeable.]
Tell the thing to simulate something very unBarge-like.

[Jedao does a few wiggly, bouncy steps, loose in the light gravity, like a kid splashing in a puddle.]
It is kind of nice, though.

So... now what?

[You could have picked something specific, dude.]
no subject
Eh, fuck that.
[He turns and goes back up the stairs.]

[Jedao mutters it mostly to himself, but the ash doesn't pack worth a damn. He returns to the stairs and follows him up.]
